A roommate's cat has severely damaged the fabric of our patio's 1/2" Double Cell VertiCell™ Cellular Shade. As the rest of the hardware is fine, is it possible to just purchase replacement fabric for this shade?

Asked by: Craig
Hello Craig. My name is Mary with Bali Customer Care. Unfortunately, the entire unit must be replaced as one. The fabric cannot be ordered alone. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Can people see through the outside of the shade to the room inside?

Asked by: Medolan
Hello. My name is Mary with Bali Customer Care. The cellular shades are available in different opacities. The Black out will provide full privacy and you will not be able to see out or in. The Room Darkening materials will provide moderate privacy and vague shadows can be seen when lights are on during the night time hours. Light Filtering materials will gently diffuse incoming light to provide some light control and privacy, however during the night time hours shadows and silhouettes will be visible through the shade. Sheer materials allow light to enter the room and will not provide privacy. Objects can be seen clearly through shades.

Looking into vertical cellular shades and an inside mount for a large slider, I have 2-1/2" from inside wall to slider frame, will your shade fit?

Asked by: DLenk
Hello. My name is Mary with Bali Customer Care. The minimum depth required to inside mount this product 1 3/4" and the full recessed depth is 2 7/8" (for flush mount). The stacking width for the vertical cellular shades ranges from 9 5/8"-18 3/8", depending on the width ordered.

If this is placed on a double patio door is there a way to open the blinds when entering from outside to the inside?

Asked by: Irv53
Hello. My name is Mary with Bali Customer Care. The vertical cellular shades will only have handles facing the inside of the room. You will have to reach around to the front side of the rail to grab the handle. If you are needing to operate from the opposite side, we would suggest a vertical blind with cord and chain that would be more accessible from both sides.

My sliding doors open from right to left, can the opening direction be changed. The direction in the pictures is left to right.

Asked by: farela
Hello Farela. My name is Mary with Bali Customer Care. The Verticell shades are universal and can open in either direction. Each side of the shade will have a handle and button, which allows you to push the shade left, right or even in the center of the window.
